Matai Gallery XL Art Maps are our largest statement pieces, created for spaces where the landscape deserves scale, presence and impact.
With frame dimensions of 1500mm wide x 600mm high x 40mm deep, these eight-layer bamboo topographical art maps are designed to showcase sweeping coastlines, iconic lakes, harbours, mountain ranges and places with real significance.
Each Matai Gallery XL Art Map is carefully constructed by hand, layer by layer, in our Wairarapa workshop. The panoramic format allows the contours, depth and natural bamboo detail to be appreciated across a striking feature artwork.
Weighing approximately 15kg, these maps are substantial feature pieces, ideal for homes, offices, lodges, reception spaces, boardrooms and interiors where the place being celebrated deserves to take centre stage.
