These garden-grade pieces are genuine New Zealand pāua shell that did not meet our higher-grade criteria for colour and thickness, yet still offer beautiful natural character.
Each piece retains its hard outer shell and has been tumbled until smooth and polished. They are ideal for adding colour around pot plants and garden displays, or for mosaics, art, craft and decorative projects.
The shell is polished in-house at the NZ Dimensionz factory in Carterton, New Zealand. As pāua is a natural material, shapes, sizes, colours and patterns will vary.

Beautiful big bits!
Have used this shell on top of a circle of weed mat around a potted indoor palm. It looks fantastic. Started out with just a ring around the edge of the pot but the potting mix got muddled up with the shell when watered. Weed mat keeps the potting mix in place and shell covers the weed mat.
