These genuine New Zealand pāua shell tusks come from the curved outer edge or rim of the shell. They have been double-tumbled to create a smooth, highly polished finish while retaining their distinctive natural shape.

Sold by weight rather than exact quantity, this 1kg bag contains approximately 120 pieces. Sizes, shapes, colours and patterns naturally vary.

The tusks are polished in-house at the NZ Dimensionz factory in Carterton, New Zealand and are ideal for mosaics, art, craft and decorative projects.

    Great for pendants

Posted by Peregrin on 28th Feb 2018

Excellent assortment of shell-rim pieces, well polished, fantastic for making pendants! Some pieces have the thinner part attached still, these can be sanded off if need be, but are still great for use in pāua art.
